The lighting on the Sebastian Kneipp Bridge in Würzburg has been completely modernized. As it is positioned between the handrails, the new 3066 balustrade lighting fits in harmoniously with the bridge's visual appearance. The light is distributed asymmetrically towards the pedestrian and cycle path. Glare reduction for shipping was also incorporated. The lighting upgrade will also save energy and CO2 over the long term. The new system will make savings of around 72%. The old manual lighting system, which has been removed, had 84 LL fluorescent lamps, each of 40 W. The 39 3066 balustrade lights are fitted with 24 W TC-L compact fluorescent lamps.
