Historical object light – restoration of the luminaire“Rotes Rathaus candelabra“

The approximately 60-year-old luminaires were removed in a first step and cleaned of coarse dirt and glass residue. Decades old deposits had to be removed. To do so, the luminaires were disassembled into individual parts. Parts missing in some areas and defective attachment pieces were restored and reconstructed to their original style. All covers were redesigned using modern materials, in this case shaped acrylic (PMMA) and installed precisely fitted. The electrical installation has been technically modernized and renovated. Finally, the complete system was re-painted.
