Hellux – strategic realignment with a new management team.

The filling of key Sales, Finance and Business Development positions further advances the consistent strategic realignment of the Hellux Group. Daniel Wecker starts on November 1, 2008, as the new Sales Director of the corporate group. Karsten Meyer will likewise assume the newly created position of Finance Director at the beginning of the month. Bastian Lemmer has been responsible for the new Business Development area since October 1, 2008. The Hellux Group is stringently developing into a premium vendor and technological leader in the area of outside lighting. In addition, other business fields in the area of architectural and building vicinity lighting and new, innovative luminaires are being developed.

Daniel Wecker (35) will lead the national sales team as Sales Director (CCO) and will expand the key account. He will further focus on the targeted acquisition of new foreign markets. Daniel Wecker provides management strength with experience in the industry. He will bring his many years of domestic and international expertise in the sales of lighting solutions to the group. 

Karsten Meyer (34) strengthens the Hellux management team as the Finance Director (CFO). With his degree in business administration, he will bundle the areas of Controlling, Finance and Accounting, Purchasing and Properties. Karsten Meyer will be responsible for strategic financial planning in the new corporate structure and will actively attend to the growth process in this capacity.

Bastian Lemmer (31) is developing the strategic expansion of the business fields. The Business Development area focusses on content transformation and reshaping of the Hellux offering and on further internationalization. With his degree in business administrator, Bastian Lemmer brings extensive experience in project management and corporate development of technology-oriented production companies.

The strengthening of these positions has set the course for the further development of the Hellux Group. Management is supplemented by Joachim Aulig (43) and Maurice Frhr. von Dalwigk (36), two experienced managers. Joachim Aulig belongs to the fourth generation in the Hellux Construktions-Licht GmbH family business and as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) is its contact for the areas of Development, Design and Construction for the corporate group. Already as of January 1, 2008, Hellux has been able to acquire another business manager with many years of experience in the expansion and management of mid-sized companies in graduate economist Maurice Frhr. von Dalwigk. As Chief Executive Officer (CEO), he is responsible for the areas of Business Development, Finance, Sales and Operations.
 
On September 19, 2008, the two well-established lighting manufacturers Hellux Construktions-Licht GmbH and Hellux GmbH, began a bright future as the Hellux Group. The Berlin location has since then been operating as Hellux Construktions-Licht GmbH. Hellux GmbH in Hanover/Laatzen remains unchanged in name and continues to carry its famous brand name. The corporate identity of the Hellux Group was completely overhauled.

With the Berlin light manufacture and the plant in Hanover/Laatzen specialized in industrial large-scale production, as well as the manufacturing shops in the Czech Republic, the Hellux Group offers a comprehensive spectrum of lighting solutions. Hellux is a complete supplier in the segments of city lighting, building lighting, railway lighting, object lighting and canal lock lighting. The family business of Hellux Construktions-Licht GmbH was founded in 1891 by Rudolf Conrad in Berlin. The history of Hellux began four years later. Carl August Schäfer founded the “Hannoversche Licht Anstalt“ in 1895. Today, about 150 employees work for the Hellux Group.
